It is easy to assume that one style of translation, Spanish per say, will work for all the Spanish speakers in a given city. This is far from being true. Driving through city streets one can find Spanish communities within Spanish communities absolutely foreign to each other, and amongst them dialects within dialects.
In addition, most of the times these audiences are slightly removed from the English mainstream population. Many times, the Spanish script must explain what the English source takes for granted.
